Il Cipresso

Noto anche col nome di cipresso italiano è una pianta che la maggior parte di noi conosce, è sempre presente nei cimiteri ed è indissolubilmente legato al paesaggio della dolce campagna toscana.

Ha radici forti e profonde e una chioma a cono che punta verso il cielo e può arrivare fino ai 30 metri d’altezza!

E’ decisamente una pianta mediterranea che predilige un suolo ascitto , mai umido. Cresce solo in pieno sole, mai in zone d’ombra.

L'olio essenziale

Il cipresso è da sempre utilizzato per le sue numerose proprietà medicinali, in particolare nei problemi che riguardano sistema respiratorio durante la stagione fredda. In particolare in caso tosse secca spamsodica, ma anche per alleviare bronchite, laringite, mal di gola.

Ha effeto calmante sul sistema nervoso e possiede proprietà antispasmodiche che aiutano ad alleviare i dolori addominali dovuti al ciclo. In questo caso si può fare una miscela con 10ml di olio vettore (oliva, mandorle ecc.) a cui aggiungere 15-20 gocce di olio essenziale di Cipresso da massaggiare sull’addome.
